English through curiosity
好奇心から学ぶ英語
Gateway English combines language learning with short, engaging lessons. Instead of studying English only through grammar drills, students use English to learn about subjects that interest them.
Gateway Englishは、英語学習と短くて興味深いミニレッスンを組み合わせたプログラムです。文法練習だけで英語を学ぶのではなく、子どもたちは興味のあるテーマを英語で学びます。
Each class introduces useful vocabulary, explains one fascinating topic and gives students time to share their ideas.
各クラスでは、役立つ語彙を学び、興味深いテーマを一つ取り上げ、自分の考えを伝える時間を設けています。

About 20 minutes / 約20分
Students learn important words, useful sentence patterns and pronunciation through games, pictures and short activities.

Mini-lesson
ミニレッスン
10–15 minutes / 10～15分
The teacher presents a short, child-friendly lesson using visuals, examples and simple explanations.
写真や図、例、わかりやすい説明を使って、子ども向けの短いレッスンを行います。
3️⃣
Wrap-up and discussion
まとめとディスカッション
About 15 minutes / 約15分
Students review the main ideas, answer guided questions and use the new vocabulary in conversation.
重要なポイントを振り返り、質問に答え、新しく学んだ語彙を会話で使います。
Activities are adjusted to support different English levels.
